Releases of the costgraph-selfhosted chart, which runs CostGraph in your own infrastructure. Helm release notes are on our chart repository; view the index.yaml for the latest published versions.

SLA

  • We will provide changelogs for major and minor releases of the chart
  • Customers will be made aware of any breaking changes in any release cycle
  • Chart versions are independent of the costgraph-operator series, so the numbers do not run continuously
costgraph-selfhosted v0.9.9

Changed

  • Includes costgraph-operator v0.8.10. CostGraph AutoPilot stays off on self-hosted installations and becomes available in a later release
costgraph-selfhosted v0.9.8

Changed

  • Includes costgraph-operator v0.8.9. CostGraph AutoPilot, including persistent volume growth, stays off on self-hosted installations and becomes available in a later release

costgraph-selfhosted v0.9.7

Changed

  • Includes costgraph-operator v0.8.7. CostGraph AutoPilot stays off on self-hosted installations and becomes available in a later release

costgraph-selfhosted v0.9.1

Fixed

  • Settings > Connected apps showed “Could not find resource”. Apps you authorize to act on your behalf now work on self-hosted installations. The chart creates the signing key on first install, or on your next upgrade, and keeps it across upgrades. No values to set

costgraph-selfhosted v0.9.0

Added

  • Graph AI can run in your installation, off by default. Turn it on with global.graphAi.enabled, choose the model with graphAi.model as <provider>/<model> (for example anthropic/claude-sonnet-4-5), and give it the provider’s API key and a read-only database login through graphAi.existingSecret or graphAi.secretEnv. It is served at /graphai on your installation’s host
  • Any model provider works by setting its API key variable. Set OPENAI_BASE_URL or ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to route through a gateway such as LiteLLM
  • The chart refuses to install Graph AI without a model or a read-only database login

costgraph-selfhosted v0.8.12

Changed

  • The app URL now comes from your first ingress host when global.appBaseURL is unset, using https when an ingress.tls entry covers that host. Sign-in, invitation and welcome emails link to that URL. If TLS ends in front of the cluster and the ingress has no tls block, set global.appBaseURL yourself
  • An appBaseURL whose host your ingress does not serve now stops the install with an error naming both hosts, instead of sending users to an address they cannot reach
  • A bundled operator (operator.enabled) sends its traffic to this release’s services inside the cluster by default, so you no longer need to set global.backendURL and global.remoteWriteURL. Values you already set still apply
  • The bundled operator moves to costgraph-operator 0.8.6 and pulls its images with this release’s registry credentials, so its GPU exporter works when you turn it on

costgraph-selfhosted v0.8.0

Changed

  • The bundled redis component now runs Valkey 8 (valkey/valkey:8-alpine) instead of Redis. It is Redis-compatible, and the value paths (redis.*, global.redis.*) and the redis-url secret key are unchanged
  • Upgrade note: the bundled store is an emptyDir cache, so there is no data to migrate. The pod restarts and the cache refills
  • External Redis and Valkey servers both work with global.redis.url

Added

author:Emmanuel
costgraph-selfhosted v0.7.0

Added

  • The CostGraph operator, the FOCUS exporter and the agent runtime can install in the same release, each off by default and switched on with operator.enabled, focusExporter.enabled and agentRuntime.enabled. See Other CostGraph charts

Changed

  • With operator.enabled, the chart refuses to install until global.backendURL and global.remoteWriteURL point at your installation, so a bundled operator cannot send this cluster’s metrics to hosted CostGraph

costgraph-selfhosted v0.5.1

Added

  • Accelerator reporting reaches self-hosted installations. The backend moves from v0.2.0 to v0.3.1 and the dashboard from v0.2.0 to v0.3.0, which together bring per-card utilization, memory, power and temperature, partitioned cards reported per partition, idle card detection, and model serving and gateway reporting with cost per million tokens
  • Accelerator charts on virtual machine pages, not only Kubernetes nodes

Fixed

  • Accelerator charts were empty on every virtual machine page. The charts rendered as though the card were idle
  • Accelerator charts also work for virtual machines that are not Kubernetes nodes

Changed

  • Chart 0.5.1 changes no other image, value or object
author:Emmanuel
costgraph-selfhosted v0.5.0

Added

  • Cloud and SaaS spend that CostGraph manages but does not monitor as a compute resource (object storage, managed databases, egress, ingested provider bills) now appears on your invoice as CostGraph Cloud, itemized per provider
  • Invoice lines for spend billed in a currency other than USD now show the amount in that currency alongside the charge
  • Self-hosted installations now report their own spend, so usage is billed from what the instance measures rather than from resource counts alone
  • The cost view now defaults to the last 30 days
  • Network edge properties are recorded on aggregated traffic

Changed

  • The $500 free threshold is measured across everything under management, hosted and self-hosted together, rather than each separately

Fixed

  • Security fixes in bundled dependencies

costgraph-selfhosted v0.4.1

Fixed

  • The backend failed to start against the bundled database
author:Emmanuel
costgraph-selfhosted v0.4.0

Changed

  • Each component is configured under its own key with a deployment block, or statefulSet for the bundled datastores. See the values reference
