# Permission denied

## When you see it

The credential is valid but is not allowed to do this. Creating, changing or deleting prices needs an API key with the `pricing:write` scope, or a signed-in admin. Reading or listing prices needs `pricing:read` or `pricing:write`, or a signed-in member.

## What to do

Use an API key with `pricing:write` to change prices, or `pricing:read` to read them. Only admins can create keys with `pricing:write`, so ask an admin if you need one. A read-only support session can read prices but cannot change them.
