# Uno sandboxes

> Run CostGraph workflows and CI jobs in Uno sandboxes: the key to create, its permissions, and its limits

Uno gives you and your agents persistent Linux computers (Firecracker microVMs with root) that sleep when idle and wake on the first request.

The following table shows what CostGraph runs on this provider.

| Workflows | CI runners | Connect with |
| - | - | - |
| Yes | No | Integrations or your own dispatcher |

CI runners: no. AutoPilot compares runners by price, and this provider publishes no sandbox price.

## Connect

Connect Uno on Integrations, and CostGraph starts sandboxes in your Uno account. You don't run anything yourself.

1. In CostGraph, go to **Integrations > Sandbox > Uno**.

2. Enter these fields:

   * **API key** (`UNO_API_KEY`, required): An Uno API key from Settings > API keys in the Uno console.
   * **API URL** (`UNO_API_URL`, optional): A different Uno console address, if you do not use the default.

3. Click **Connect**.

### Your own dispatcher

To keep the key out of CostGraph or reach a private network, run your own dispatcher instead.
Set `provider` to `uno` and the preceding fields as environment variables, as described in [Run your own dispatcher](https://docs.costgraph.ai/costgraph/workflows/managed-sandboxes.md#run-your-own-dispatcher).

## Key and permissions

UNO\_API\_KEY is an Uno API key: the account key (unoapikey\_...) or a scoped token (uno\_...) minted with POST /api/v1/tokens or in the Uno console (Settings > API keys). Bearer auth.

Scoped tokens take explicit scopes. Minimum for CostGraph: boxes:read (list/get) + boxes:write (run, delete) + infra:purchase, because POST /api/v1/boxes (create) returns 403 PURCHASE\_SCOPE\_REQUIRED without it. Do not set machine\_limits: a key with limits is refused POST /boxes (403 MACHINE\_KEY\_LIMITED). Needs a live Uno plan (402 PLAN\_REQUIRED). ## Limits

* Plan sizes: Small 1 vCPU/1 GB, Plus 4/4 GB, Pro 16 vCPU/16 GB, Max 32 vCPU/48 GB (more with boosts); free plan has no computer. ([source](https://uno.place))
* Computers have no fixed lifetime; idle computers nap after 10 minutes (economy mode). ([source](https://uno.place))
* POST /boxes/\{id}/run is synchronous with timeout\_s default 60, max 3600 per command. ([source](https://console.uno.place/api/v1/openapi.yaml))
* Regions nl (Netherlands) and us (New York per region page, noted as fully booked); create may fail with REGION\_UNAVAILABLE. CPU architecture not stated. ([source](https://uno.place/regions/us/))
