# Agent37 sandboxes

> Run CostGraph workflows and CI jobs in Agent37 sandboxes: the key to create, its permissions, and its limits

Agent37 runs persistent isolated Linux instances (containers or full VMs) that you create from a template and drive over a REST API, including a command exec endpoint.

The following table shows what CostGraph runs on this provider.

| Workflows | CI runners | Connect with |
| - | - | - |
| Yes | Yes | Integrations or your own dispatcher |

## Connect

Connect Agent37 on Integrations, and CostGraph starts sandboxes in your Agent37 account. You don't run anything yourself.

1. In CostGraph, go to **Integrations > Sandbox > Agent37**.

2. Enter these fields:

   * **API key** (`AGENT37_API_KEY`, required): An Agent37 API key from Cloud > API keys in the Agent37 dashboard.
   * **Region** (`AGENT37_REGION`, optional): The Agent37 region sandboxes run in, if not the default.

3. Click **Connect**.

### Your own dispatcher

To keep the key out of CostGraph or reach a private network, run your own dispatcher instead.
Set `provider` to `agent37` and the preceding fields as environment variables, as described in [Run your own dispatcher](https://docs.costgraph.ai/costgraph/workflows/managed-sandboxes.md#run-your-own-dispatcher).

To see what Agent37 costs, connect the [Agent37 integration](https://docs.costgraph.ai/costgraph/integrations/agent37.md).

## Key and permissions

AGENT37\_API\_KEY is an Agent37 API key (sk\_live\_...), created in the dashboard at Cloud > API keys (agent37.com/dashboard/cloud/api-keys) or returned by POST /v1/signup; shown once. Each key is scoped to one workspace.

Keys are not scoped: full access to the workspace. The signup docs say the key is "a full workspace key" that creates instances, manages templates and domains, funds the wallet and adds members; the only per-key restriction documented is an optional IP allowlist (up to 20 IPs/CIDRs).

## Limits

* 4 vCPU is the ceiling on every instance type; larger requests are clamped to 4 vCPU (memory up to 32 GB). ([source](https://www.agent37.com/docs/agents-api/instance-sizing.md))
* Instances live until deleted; auto\_sleep is off by default (idle\_timeout\_seconds default 900, 5 minutes to 1 day when enabled). ([source](https://www.agent37.com/docs/agents-api/instance-auto-sleep.md))
* Exec waits up to 15 minutes on sandbox.agent37.app and 13 minutes (780 s) on api.agent37.com, then errors while the command keeps running; CostGraph runs long commands in the background. Max 48 concurrent commands per instance. ([source](https://www.agent37.com/docs/agents-api/exec.md))
* Instances run on dedicated servers in the United States only. ([source](https://www.agent37.com/docs/agents-api/concepts.md))
