# Data exports

> Download your spend, insights, reports, and audit log as files

You can download what you see in CostGraph as a file to share or analyze
elsewhere.

| Page | Button | Formats |
| - | - | - |
| **Cost** | **Export** | CSV, Excel |
| **Insights** | **Export** | CSV |
| **Reports** | **Export** | PDF, PNG image |
| **Settings > Audit log** | **Export CSV** | CSV |

To send cost data into a billing tool such as Stripe or Lago instead, see
[Billing exports](/costgraph/integrations/exports/overview).

## Cost

On the **Cost** page, click **Export** and choose **CSV** or **Excel**. The
file follows the period, grouping, and filters you have selected. It has:

* One row for every group, not only the groups on screen.
* One row per billed currency when a group is billed in several.
* A total row for each currency at the end.

Amounts are in the currency you were billed in, not converted. A single export
holds up to 50,000 rows. Narrow the period or filters if you reach it.

The same file is available from the API: add `format=csv` or `format=xlsx` to
a cost query in the [CostGraph API](/api-reference/costgraph/introduction).

## Insights

On the **Insights** page, click **Export** to download the current list of
insights, with your filters applied, as a CSV file.

## Reports

Open a report, click **Export**, and choose **PDF** or **Image (PNG)**. PDF
opens your browser's print dialog with the report laid out for print. Choose
**Save as PDF** as the destination.

## Audit log

Organization owners and admins can export the audit log. See
[Audit log](/costgraph/security/audit-log).
